Hi, I'm trying to play around with the project a bit to implement a TLV to do some simulations with a modified BMCA. This project looks very promising and I have been looking at 2 possible implementations.
Currently I've been trying to implement the ENHANCED_ACCURACY_METRICS TLV specification from IEEE Std 1588-2019.
Approach one: Using the files PTP_TLV provided in the datatypes. So I see here that there was already some work that had been done for implementing a TLV. The problem I had is that I could not get an implemented TLV to be used in the actual simulation
and am wondering if anyone else has any ideas or experience with this?
Approach two: Extend the announce frame with the value fields of the ENHANCED_ACCURACY_METRICS TLV that I care about the most so that they can be used easily for modifying the BMCA, any ideas or help regarding this either?
I can provide more details about what I've tried and the errors I encountered also.
